The Thing About My Brother Crew
Miles DeRosa, Writer / Director / Editor / Executive Producer
Originally from Atlanta, Miles double-majored in Mass Communication and Film at the University of North Carolina Wilmington, where he performed stand-up comedy and wrote and acted for a college sketch group.
He has studied Improv in a variety of locations, including Wilmington, Austin, TX, and Chicago's Second City.
Miles' goal was to combine his film inspirations of John Hughes and Harold Ramis with the talents of Improv legends, like Chevy Chase, Steve Martin, Bill Murray, Second City, and the original Saturday Night Live cast into an independent film that told a dark story in a comedic light, thanks to all the actors' talent at Improvisation.
Miles has never acted on camera unless you count him winning the World Series with Kenny Powers on the first episode of Eastbound & Down (which he does).
This is Miles' first time writing and directing.

Chris Vickery, 2nd AD / Producer / Editor / Score
Chris Vickery, though still a student at the University of North Carolina Wilmington, is very involved in the artistic community in various facets. A musician by trade, he performs with bands and as a solo act as well as composing for many short films in the area. His musical expertise also extends into the recorded sound realm, allowing him to operate in the sound department on many local films.
His experience in film is not limited to sound, however. He writes, directs, edits, and even acts in a myriad of local projects, including his own. For the time being, he is tethered by academia, but he hopes to branch out soon and begin producing projects independently with the incredible people that surround him, as well as submitting other projects to agents and producers for bigger budget plans.

JD Banks, Assistant Camera
JD moved to Wilmington, NC in 2010 and worked his way into the local film industry by standing in for "The Hoss" himself, David Hasselhoff, on 'Piranha 3DD.'
The Hoss inspired him so much that JD seg-wayed onto 'Eastbound & Down,' standing in for Will Ferrell and Don Johnson, and Colin Firth on 'Arthur Newman, Golf Pro,' befriending each actor and learning from their stories.
This was JD's first experience working behind the camera but his positive attitude and willingness to absorb everything on both sides of the camera only proves that he has a bright future in the industry.
